Cristiano Ronaldo Dos Santos Aveiro, born on February 5, 1985 in the island of Madeira, Portugal, has grown to become arguably the greatest player the game of soccer has ever known.

The 5-time ballon do'or winner and 2-time Fifa Men's Best player has been an object of spectacle to football fans across the globe. The manner in which he breaks and set records is amazing and the numbers he's racked do tell the tales.

1. Cristiano Ronaldo signed for Sporting FC and became a regular first team player at the tender age of 16.

4. Ronaldo earned his first senior cap for Portugal at the age of 18 against Kazakhstan in 2003.

5. Cristiano's first Manchester United goal came from a free-kick in a 3-0 win against Portsmouth.

6. Ronaldo scored his first and only hat-trick for Manchester United against Newcastle on January 12, 2008.

7. Ronaldo's first and last goals for Manchester United came from a free-kick.

8. After signing for Real Madrid, Ronaldo scored in his first four league games becoming the first Player to do so for the club.

9. Ronaldo's first Champions league goals for Real Madrid was a free-kick scored against Zurich. He scored two of those in that game.

10. Ronaldo scored his one hundredth League goal for Real Madrid in just 92matches.

11. Ronaldo became the first non-Spanish player in 60 years to captain the El Clasico on January 30, 2013.
